We are looking for a Vehicle Systems SW Advanced Engineer for our Vado Ligure facility Your Role Reporting to the Services Vehicle Refurbishment and Modernization department Head, the Advanced Engineer will be in charge of technical development and management of sub-systems refurbishment (including Control & communication systems) for railway vehicles. Your Challenges The candidate shall be responsible for: creation of concept documentation and architecture definition developing software for railway equipment and electronic device. test, validate, commission and document the system till the approval process is completed manage and coordinate the external Engineering software consultants Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications Master of Science degree in Electrical/Automation engineering is required. 5 years of experience on Logic implementation, test and commissioning. A direct experience on logic development, test and commissioning for Very High Speed Train, Light Rail Vehicles (Metro/Tram) or Locomotives, as well as software development according to the EN 50126-50128-50129 norms, will be considered as an asset. Ability to work as a functional team leader. Good analytical skills. Excellent English and Italian communication skills. Availability to travel on a short notice.
