Job Description
Description Supplier relationship •Identification of project and business needs •Preparation and launch of RFQ with suppliers using the standard tool •Negotiation of cost reduction with suppliers •Placementof orders for projects on his site •Ensure QCD targets achievnement •Contribution to supplier performance reviews •Management of initial isses before escalating to his direct report •Close work with intrnal customers and stakeholders (Supply Chain, Engineering, Platform, Projects, SQA) for issues related to sourcing •Apply the AT Sourcung process and provide return on experience As commodity relay within sites : •Consolidation of needs with Commodity Manager •Involvement in the definition of commodity strategies with the Commodity Manager •Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase •Represents the commodities towards projects and platforms Through involvement in projects: •Closely works with sourcing Work Package Owner •Commits on work package sheet with validation of Commodity Manager and the Sourcing Domain Director Qualifications technical/economical background - min. 3 years of experience in Purchasing (preferred industry sectors: automotive, railway, aerospace) - sound knowledge of Sheet Metal Work Commodity/other metallic Commodity - experience in resourcings, MoB cases and production transfer projects with proven track record - KPI oriented with ability to work under strict timeframe - QCDM mindset - ready to travel locally and internationaly - fluent English (spoken and written) - knowledge of French language would be an additional asset
