Bombardier Transportation offers a full range of rail vehicles for urban and mainline operation as well as modernization of rolling stock and operations and maintenance services. For our Headquarters in Berlin, we are currently looking to recruit a: Senior Specialist IS, Site Deployments (m/f) Key Accountabilities Drives continuous improvement on site delivery to streamline processes & timelines associated with it Proactively interacts with the BRMs to build a proper forecast for new sites Participates in setting project appropriately (timeline, requirements, triggers, etc) Works closely with the BRMs to validate the quality of the requirements before sending them to the partners Identifies area of improvements and drives them Proposes improvements to our Partners Templates for requirements gathering Strong governance with all parties involved in a site delivery to deliver on time Conducts the New Sites Project Review Boards (PRB) with partners Oversees deliverables with all parties involved Performs all necessary follow ups and escalations Acts as the single point of contact for infrastructure deliverables with IS groups involved (Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and other Programs) Acts as a single point of contact for the BRMs and PMs involved in a site delivery (being the escalation point as well) Ensure site delivery by maintaining a close relationship with all parties involved (partners, IS, Business) Proactively mitigates the risks and action the issues with clear ownership & target dates assigned Oversees budget for each site ensuring delivery stays within budget and agreed scope Challenges the requirements & proposed solutions when required Accountable for IT standards for site rollouts Collaborates with IT SME and the Tower Leads to define standard building blocks for site rollout Works closely with the outsourced providers to ensure BT standards are deployed Guarantees that all configuration data is tracked IT Infrastructure site evolution Acts as change guardian/sponsor to ensure that all major changes at sites are inline with BT standards Actively identify gaps to standards and their operational impacts Works with the service provider to close the gaps Qualifications Qualifications Education required: Bsc / BEng Computer Science Number of years of experience required : 5-10 years Technical skills/knowledge: General knowledge of technical infrastructure related to a site - Network & Telecom, EUC, Server & Storage Language ability: English at minimum, other languages an asset
