We are looking for a Sr. Buyer for our Vado Ligure facility Your Role Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the candidate will be in charge of ensuring, in a timely and cost-effective manner, all the procurement scope for each and every project he/she will participate in. Your Challenges attend the project core meetings bringing in the team needed procurement support and commitment in all projects phases (bid, execution, warranty, after warranty) Manage and to develop supplier base relationship at international level. Issue RfQs, Pos, Frame Agreements Compare and analyze offers from suppliers Procure material after negotiation according to scope, budget , timeframe and assigned overall savings Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications Master of Science degree in engineering is required. 5+ years of direct work experience as a buyer in complex multinational industrial organizations (Experience in railway market will be considered as an asset), covering operations in Italy and the Mediterranean region. Experienced in International negotiations and developing International Supply Chains Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Project Management Tools and SAP Excellent English and Italian communication skills. Availability to travel on a short notice.
