For our division Mainline and Metros at our site in Aachen we are currently looking to recruit a Project Contract Manager (m/f) Objectives The Project Contract Manager is responsible to support the Project Manager and lead the Project Core Team in Contractual Obligation Management, Contract Administration and Claim Management with regards to the Customer (and Consortium Partner) Contract(s) and similarly support Procurement with regards to Supplier Contracts. The Project Contract Manager will ensure that all Core Team functions have understood the obligations which BT has to fulfill under the respective Customer (and Consortium Partner) Contract(s) and in consultation with the PM ensure that BT contractual rights are exercised correctly. Key tasks Establish and maintain the Contractual Obligations matrix liaising with Core Team functions to ensure obligations are understood and effectively implemented within the respective functional activities. Establish and maintain the Contract Administration process ensuring that all communications to and from Customer are effectively managed according to contractual requirements and policies, ensuring that a proper archive is maintained throughout the Project lifecycle. Participate in all Project Core Team meetings to ensure early recognition and action to address challenges with fulfillment of our contractual obligations and ensure timely notification to Customer of deviations in performance of Customer obligations toward our company. Take ownership of Contractual Risks and Opportunities. Implement the Claims Management process within the Project to ensure effective identification and resolution of Claims ensuring legal support if obtained in a timely manner Support Procurement on the placement of all major Purchase Contracts to ensure Customer Contract adherence and the ongoing commercial management of the Purchase Contracts once placed. Ensure Supplier risks of non adherence / performance is reported within the Project Core Team and captured within the Project Risk and Opportunities Porfolio. Establish and implement, jointly with the Project Manager, the Project Commercial Strategy towards the Customer (and Consortium Partner) continuously seeking opportunities for improvement of the Projects commercial situation through growth of project scope, revenue and margins, through effective administration of the contract and the implementation of a variation order and claim management processes. Qualifications . Qualifications: University degree in the Technical or Commercial area Minimum of 3-5 years working experience required Solid understanding of contractual legal concepts Ability to gain basic understanding of our Products and Technologies Very good communication and integration skills Fluent English language skills are required Good level of German language skills is a strong asset
