We are talent pooling for Network Communication Engineers for our future projects all around the world.

In your role you will propose, design, test, and commission communication systems that include various technologies in the fields of Networking, RF Transmission, CCTV, Public Address audio, signage, and Telephones. In you role, the primary emphasis will be placed on data networking to design and implement LANs for people mover systems. CCNA required, CCNP or CCDP preferred.

In your role you will have strong knowledge of fiber connectivity, Layer-2 and 3 networks, spanning-tree, and linear network design required. Knowledge of static routing, redundant routing protocols, and access control lists is a must. Although Gigabit networks are primarily utilized, knowledge in non-Cicso based technologies is desired (i.e. ATM, SONET)

In your role, the work assignments will not strictly be in network design. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate knowledge in other communications disciplines such as wireless networking, RF WLAN, VoIP telephones, Public Address audio, signage, and CCTV. Hardware design in these areas will frequently be required.

In your role you will be responsible for
1. Design stand alone networks for projects worldwide. These networks require redundancy with excellent failure recovery performance.
2. Design communication systems using off the shelf components based on customer requirements. This includes all aspects of the design of communications subsystems, including the work of other engineers and technologists.
3. Overseeing technical deliverables to ensure schedule and quality of work are maintained. This includes installation design, software configuration management, RAMS, maintenance procedures and instructions, safety and quality plans and procedures. Prepare test procedures and support Product Introduction to demonstrate compliance of installed communications systems.
4. Preparing estimates to complete work tasks. Monitor engineering progress against budget throughout project duration.
5. Ensuring project staff addresses proper physical interface with the civil and electrical works through specification of requirements and proper follow with QA and the Civil and Electrical Contractors to ensure installation provisions are built correctly.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,
You hold a degree or diploma of post secondary education in Electrical/Electronics or Software Engineering discipline.
You possess relevant working experience in the design, testing and commissioning, or maintenance of communication networks and systems.
You have at least 5 years of work experience (Electrical/Electronics or Software Engineering)
You are highly motivated and you have flexibility to work in a time-sensitive environment to respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high workloads, events and emergencies.
