We are looking for a Material Solutions Engineer to be located at Services Divsvions Västerås facility Your Role As a Material Solutions Engineer for our Service Division you will work as a key member of the Parts Service Line team providing engineering support in delivering our business goals for the Nordic Region. The role entails development of Bills of Material and material demand plans for various fleets and systems across the Nordic region. You will also develop tools and models for forecasting material needs. Another important task of your job is benchmarking material requirements across Nordic fleets and other Regions. You will work with local, regional and inter-divisional engineers to deliver the technical support to the Service Line. Your role as a Material Solutions Engineer also includes customer meetings and leading technical discussions as well as cataloguing and data management. Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications · Professional Engineer or similar tertiary qualification · At least 5 years of working experience · Fluent in Swedish and English · Experience with fleet operations and maintenance and knowledge of life cycle cost analysis · Skills in Maximo, BAAN, SAP, PDM, MS Office (especially Excel) is required · Experience from the rail industry will be considering an asset
