We are talent pooling for Legal Advisors for our future projects all around the world.

In your role you will provide support for all aspects of the various functions within the Systems Contracts department. You will be required to provide significant interface between the marketing function and the other functions and with corporate office, with primary focus on the support of the preparation, approval, negotiation and submittal of proposals.

In your role you will be responsible for:

• Provide support for all aspects of the responsibilities held by the Systems Contracts department relating to bids, including determining contract structure and strategy for Terms and Conditions for bidding, working as part of the Bid Team for all bids allocated, preparing all Contract documents required by Bombardier Corporate Governance in relation to bid process, conduct negotiation of terms and conditions with partners and customers, liaising with Group and Corporate Office in relation to proposed Terms and Conditions, and securing mandates necessary to bid.
• Take all measures to enforce companys claims and defend and manage claims against the company to approved plan including budget, strategy, timetable, compliance with Corporate Governance requirements, liaison and updating of Group/Corporate functions as required.
• Provide support for other functions within SYS including Sales and Marketing, Project Management, Finance, Bid Management, Engineering, and functions outside SYS such as Structured Finance, Claims Management, etc to ensure consistency of approach, compliance with Corporate Governance requirements, and achievement of optimal positions for BT in all areas of activity.
• Knowledge of and adherence with corporate governance requirements for bidding and project work, liaison with other functions within Bombardier Transportation in relation to required financial instruments, provision of corporate secretarial functions to all Systems bids and projects.
• Support Project Management and other functions during implementation of projects through timely interpretation and application of contract terms and conditions, ensuring always to best position BT by recommending and implementing opportunities to realize gains and minimize exposure to commercial risk.
• Provide legal analysis and advice on an ad hoc range of matters confronting Systems Division.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

• You hold a Law degree.
• You possess at least two years experience in similar role.
• You are fluent in English and any other languages would be an advantage.
• You may be required to travel internationally from time- to-time as required by the business.
