We are talent pooling for Lead Buyers for our future projects all around the world.

As a Lead Buyer you will create, maintain and drive the deployment of our sourcing strategies, working closely together with the Regional Buyers and IPO. You will sustainable contribute in optimizing the TCO of our products through our unique innovative, best in class supply chain and Supply Relationship Management.
You will actively support the Bid process, negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers across all Regions. You will be tracking suppliers performance and support them in target performance achievement.

In your role you will be responsible for

1. Support material bids
Support tender/bidding process
Agree Sourcing Plans with sites bid coordinators
2. Manage purchase contracts for projects & operations within scope
Assist in the efficient procurement and management of suppliers and sub-contractors from commencement of the tender process (White Book) to contract completion.
Lead all negotiations with suppliers or sub-contractors with participation of the appropriate functions
Prepare sub-contract documentation, including tender and contract documents.
Support major claim processes
3. Develop supplier best in class performance
Consolidate and develop suppliers base
Supplier performance monitoring
Supplier relation management
4. Manage material cost reduction activities
Create purchasing leverage and gain from synergies with group and other divisions
Category benchmark and intelligence
Formulation of category strategies and set targets
Prepare & Present category presentations
Attend meetings - Global locations
Support when needed, on other categories
Implement total cost reduction
5. Communicate & share information and best practices
Build contact network internal, external, cross divisionally, & coerce cooperation wherever needed
Cascade commodity strategy to sites
Ensure 2-ways-communication with sites and buyers

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate, you will have:
MBA, BA, Engineering degree
Minimum of 7 years purchasing experience or purchasing related role, preferably within an industrial environment of electronic or electro mechanical equipment including minimum 2 years in strategic sourcing
