For our Headquarters in Berlin, we are currently looking to recruit: IS/IT Project Manager, PLM Deployments (m/f) Summary You will be responsible for managing the delivery and implementation of Maximo solutions for projects from start-up to project closure. This includes taking full responsibility in terms of project definition and planning, performance measurement, quality management, risk management, resource management, communication and integration management within the scope of the assigned programs/projects, as well as with respect to the Bombardier Project Management Guidelines and Policies and in line with the appropriate Financial Approval processes. Key accountabilities To be responsible for all stages of complex, multinational projects. This covers initiation, planning and approval, execution and delivery through to project closure, ensuring that the project is delivered within the planned timeframe, scope and budget. (Projects may be multinational), Ensure that the scope is managed within the framework of the program and user expectations are aligned with this framework and that the rigorous change control process is applied, Manage large project teams, at multiple locations, consisting of Bombardier Transportation employees of different disciplines, Bombardier Transportation Partners and others. In addition, teams will consist of people of different cultural backgrounds, Maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the business, in different functions, divisions and countries, Manages project closure. Resolves all issues, maintains metrics through estimate templates, manages post-assignment analysis, generates lessons learned and ensures transition to Solutions Sustainability, Provide support to the PMO in the Project Approval and Review processes, to ensure that delays are not incurred due to a lack of preparation or non-adherence to official procedure, Consolidate financial reports and status reports for management review, Participate in the review of Projects on a monthly basis to ensure that key issues and risks are escalated and appropriate actions are taken forward and tracked. Key challenges Managing complex, multinational projects, that will have major impact on the business and understanding the ramifications of this impact, Managing client expectations and ensuring alignment with the program, Developing and maintaining effective relationships with multiple stakeholders from different functions, disciplines, divisions, countries, Managing all deviations, changes and resulting impacts that affect the project in terms of costs, schedules, deliverables, quality and resources, Managing the project documentations, project team activities and deliverables aligned with the approved business requirements, in co-partnership with the business and Business Partner. Qualifications For this role, the successful candidate should offer the following: A relevant educational background (ideally IT engineering) to a university level, 7 to 10 years experience in a relevant IT field, including 5 years IS Project Management experience, Experience in leading/driving large, complex project(s) through complete Project Life-cycle, preferably on an international basis, Possess an excellent technical level with regards to Project Management tools & methodology (ideally with PMP/PMI/Prince 2 certification), Good technical command of Software/Systems incl. SAP, Maximo. Experience with infrastructure background would be highly appreciated, Strong analytical skills, Ability to adapt to an international dynamic working environment, Business-fluent English (written and spoken) is absolutely necessary, Open to frequent international travel according to business requirements.
