Polish Trains Are Faster - 21/12/2009

A train journey from Warsaw to Cracow and Katowice takes 20 minutes less than it used to be. According to new schedule our express trains, intercity and TLK trains cover this distance in 2.5 hour (even 2 hours and 22 minutes).

The renovation of both routes cost around 190 million PLN (46 million euro). Polish National Rail has already renovated 20 engineering objects, crossovers and 80 kilometres of railway. Thanks to these changes, Polish trains may speed 110 km/h instead of 80 km/h.
