Poland: New railbuses for Pomeranian region

In the next 3 years, Pomeranian (Pomorskie) region in Poland plans to purchase 10 new railbuses. The cost of these vehicles is estimated at PLN 120m.

According to the marshal office, the tender procedures are already in progress, however it is not yet known when they will end. In the first tender 7 railbuses will be purchased, 3 short with 140 seats and 4 longer with 180 seats. The acquisition will cost PLN 79m, out of which PLN 45m will come from the EU funds.

Additional three vehicles should be bought in the near future. They will be co-financed by the European Union in 70-85%.
